CONTROLLOGIX 5000 and FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA HANDS-ON Training
Course Preamble
This course will introduce the trainees to the AllenBradley ControlLogix® platform. It begins with an overview of the hardware and migrates into an introduction of RSLogix 5000 software. The trainees will be introduced to basic Logix5000 concepts, terminologyand basic Logix5000 system hardware with hands-on experience. They will also have an opportunity to use RSLogix 5000 software to perform basic system configuration and troubleshooting tasks. Students will receive a basic understanding of the structure of a ControlLogix® program, which includes Routines and the Tag Database. The trainees will have a sound understanding of various AB Communication protocols including ControNet, Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, etc. The trainees will learn how to configure FactoryTalk and setup communication with ControlLogix hardware.
Delivery Methodology
The Trainees will be trained in our Ultra-modern Automation Studio consisting of mini process treatment plant with instrument junction box routing the field instrument signals to the control cabinet consisting of ControlLogix 5000 hardware and its communication modules which include controlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, etc.

The ControlLogix 5000 is connected to the control room via ethernet/IP to the factoryTalk PC in the training studio control Room for visualisation.

This on the job like training exposes the trainees to the nitty-gritties of real life plant challenges.
